Cochin University of Science and Technology, International School of Photonics Thrikkakara, Kochi Kerala is set up in the year 1995 as Public (Autonomous) Educational Institute to give advanced education to assemble vocation in the field of Engineering and Degree.
The executives of Cochin University of Science and Technology, International School of Photonics Thrikkakara, Kochi is working under dr. M Kailasnath (Director).
International School of Photonics (ISP) came in to presence in 1995 by rebuilding and delinking the laser laboratories alongside the employees of the laser bunch from the Department of Physics at Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Labor improvement and foundation of exploration exercises in photonics and related fields are the significant targets of ISP.
In 1995 we began a three semester MTech course in Optoelectronics and Laser Technology.
In 2001 we likewise began a M Phil.
course in Photonics with a goal to prepare educators in the zone of Photonics.
The School has a standout amongst other laser research centers in the nation.
Our exploration zones range from crucial to applied fields in photonics and related regions.
At present we have synergistic examination exercises with different establishments in India and abroad.
The main one is with the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands in the territory of Photonics.
This joint program is upheld under the MHO help offered by the Dutch government to ISP.
