On scholarly front, the University is running Four Schools with thirteen Undergraduate Programs in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Leather Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Food Technology, Oil Technology, Paint Technology and Plastic Technology alongside M C A, full time and low maintenance M Tech.
Program in different trains and going to begin full time Ph.
D program in number of orders as a component of Quality Improvement Program of MHRD and TEQUP-II.
Taking into account the arising need of the time, the University is intending to begin number of Programs at Undergraduate and Post Graduate level soon.
The University gives a suitable climate to the comprehensive development and all round advancement of the understudies with the end goal that they become internationally worthy characters with relational abilities, appropriate perspectives, aptitudes, critical thinking capacities and to fill in as a group.
HBTU Kanpur(Formerly HBTI) has gotten help from the World Bank( Phases TEQIP-I, TEQIP-II) for different formative undertakings.
