Description
Establishing an Educational Institute for ladies was brought about by mr. Parmanand Bhai Patel, an eminent industrialist of Jabalpur.
The proposition was invited by Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla, the then Hon.
Boss Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
On July 15, 1954 Govt.
M H College of Home Science and Science For Women appeared with just Home Science classes.
mr. Parmanand Bhai Patel’s, firm Mohanlal Hargovinddas gave Rs.
One Lakh for the foundation of the school.
On April 27, 1956 the establishment stone was set down on 11 sections of land of land, arranged in the core of Jabalpur city, by the central pastor of MP.
The school building is a wonderful bit of structural work.
Offices, for example, Hostel, Sports complex, Canteen and so on are accessible in the school premises.
The inn obliges around 650 young ladies.
This is the greatest young ladies inn of MP.
In 1955 Mankuwar Bai College of Arts was converged with this foundation.
Taking a gander at the advancement of the Home Science Faculty, the Government of Madhya Pradesh allowed authorization to direct Science classes also.
In 1986 Mankuwar Bai College became autonomous establishment of Arts and Commerce.
Thus the parent school turned into the school for Home Science and Science.
