G Pulla Reddy Engineering College is the brainchild of Late Sri G Pulla Reddy, (prominently known as Sweets Pulla Reddy in A P ) the famous giver and an incredible humanist. Set up in 1984-85, it is one of the soonest private designing universities in Andhra Pradesh state.
GPREC has been working as an independent establishment since 2006.
The school is being overseen by G Pulla Reddy Charity’s trust, Hyderabad.
The trust was initiated by late Sri G Pulla Reddy Garu in 1977 with the saying of delivering administration to the general public.
The trust has set up numerous instructive establishments, medical clinics, shelters, broken homes, and other social government assistance associations in different pieces of Andhra Pradesh State.
