The D K College was established on June 26, 1956 by a rich and kind-hearted woman named Dharichhana Kuwari in her own town Dumri, 10 Km.

The liberal woman gave Rs.
2,61,000/ – in real money and twenty Bighas of land to give a shape to her fantasy of degree school in a provincial and instructively in reverse zone to grant training to the understudies having a place with poor and oppressed families.
It was actually a progressive instructive blast around then.
Yet, sadly, she left for her magnificent habitation on December 19, 1956.
The College became vagrant after her demise.
For endurance, the school needed to battle hard and change its area from Dumri to Purana Bhojpur and afterward to Dumraon.
