The Co-usable Academy of Professional Education is advanced by the Co-activity Department of the Government of Kerala and is a self-ruling society under Government of Kerala.
The Society is enrolled under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act, 1955 based on the Memorandum of Association and the Rules as endorsed by the Government of Kerala.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala is the Ex-Officio Chairman of the Society.
The Hon’ble Minister for Co-activity is the Ex-Officio Vice Chairman and the Chairman of the Board of Governors, with the Director of the Academy as the Member Secretary of the general public.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, is the Ex-officio Chairman of the Society.
The Hon’ble Minister for Co-activity and Tourism, is the Ex-officio Vice Chairman of the Society and the Chairman of its Board of Governors.
The individuals from the Society incorporates, among others, the Secretary to Government (Co-activity), Director of Technical Education, Director of Medical Education, Registrar of Co-usable Societies, Presidents of Kerala State and District Co-usable Banks, prominent specialists in Technical and Medical Education and Industrialists.
The administration of the CAPE is vested with a seven part Executive Committee headed by the Hon’ble Minister for Co-activity, Khadi and Village Industries.
