Carmel College, Modankap, Bantwal is another endeavor of the Apostolic Carmel Sisters of the Karnataka Province began in 2010 under the support of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
The College had 58 understudies in First year B Com and 42 understudies in First year B B M with a complete quality of 100 understudies.
The greater part of the understudies subsequent to finishing PUC in Carmel Composite Pre-University College had either to cease their examinations or travel to Mangalore or other inaccessible schools due to the absence of Degree Colleges in the region.
Consequently the Management thought that it was important to offer a Higher Education Institution in similar premises.
