Assam Institute of Management, Guwahati Assam is set up in the year 1988 as Public Institute Educational Institute to give advanced education to fabricate profession in the field of Humanities, Computer Applications and Commerce.
Assam Institute of Management is having Affiliation with presumed AICTE
The board of Assam Institute of Management, Guwahati is working under Shri. Jitesh Khosla (Chairman).
,Established in 1988 by the Government of Assam to advance proficient administration in North East India, the Institute has been directing Management Program since 1994 alongside the lead of the preparation programs, research activities and consultancy tasks.
At the unique solicitation of the then Chief Minister of Assam, late Sri Hiteswar Saikia, the AICTE agreed endorsement to the Program.
Notwithstanding having infrastructural insufficiencies, the AICTE had been agreeing endorsement to the Program chiefly due to the rich scholarly substance and staff asset.
With the moving of the Institute to its lasting grounds in January 2015, the Institute has had the option to meet a large portion of the infrastructural necessities.
The Management Program has been organized on trimester design and was investigated at the public level by CRISIL (a generally rumored worldwide level rating organization).
As proposed by the Governing Body of the Institute, the Management Program structure was checked on by two prominent Professors of IIM Calcutta in 2008.
The Program is consistently assessed each year in the Academic Council Meetings.
