Government National College, Sirsa was set up in 1957 as a private school.
On 22nd January 1959, the school appeared as Government Institute subsequent to getting taken over by the Government specialists.
It is the main co-instructive school in the Sirsa locale which offers PG courses in Psychology, Punjabi, Hindi, English, Political Science and Economics.
The school runs in the first part of the day just as night meeting.
