The Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt.
of India vide its request no.
F 23-13-2009-TS-III Dated 30th of Oct.
2009 and third March 2010, had chosen to set up ten new NITs.
Taking into account the above NIT Mizoram was begun in the year 2010 in the territory of Mizoram with a goal to confer instruction, research and preparing prompting B Tech, M Tech and PhD.
