Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, set up by Government of NCT of Delhi under the arrangements of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999.
The University plans to invigorate both the hearts and psyches of researchers, engage them to add to the government assistance of the general public everywhere: train them to adroit themselves to the changing requirements of the economy; teach them for culture initiative to guarantee harmony, agreement and success for all.
It is an affiliating and instructing University that means to encourage and advance investigations, exploration and expansion work in arising zones of advanced education with center around proficient training in the orders of designing, innovation, engineering, the executives, medication, drug store, physiotherapy, nursing, schooling, law, reporting and mass correspondence and so forth and furthermore to accomplish greatness in these and related fields and other issue associated therewith or coincidental thereto.
The college is perceived by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under area 12 B of UGC Act.
