Govind National College, Narangwal (Ldh.
) is controlled by Patna Sahib Education Trust which was set up by Late S Joginder Singh Grewal(PP Sahib) on Jan 25, 1966 under motivation from Sant Baba Gurdit Singh Ji, Kutia Sahib Wale.
The establishment stone of the school was laid by Sant Baba Harbans Singh Ji on April 24,1966.
Since that day, this school has been spreading training in country regions in science (Non-clinical) and Humanities upto certificate classes.
From meeting 2006-07, the College had begun Post-graduate classes in Punjabi and Mathematics, B P ED (long term course), D P ED (long term course), M P ED (long term course), PGDCA, BCA, B Com and B Sc.
(Farming).
Moreover, B Voc.
courses in Automobile, Retail Managemant and Green House Technology have additionally been presented from meeting 2018-19.
The school is going by a profoundly vivacious, dynamic and devoted Principal, dr. Avinash Kaur.
Out of complete 30 endorsed posts, the College has nineteen supported posts of qualified educators, and there are fourteen Ph.
D’s and seven M Phil’s.
