dr. Ambedkar College of Arts and Commerce, Chandrapur was set up in 1972 under Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Society, Chandrapur.
It is a Grant-in-guide school and subsidiary to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU).
It is perceived by UGC under area 2(f) and 12(b) of UGC Act 1956 and certify with ‘C++’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The vision and mission of the school is to give quality advanced education to the socially and monetarily impeded understudies of in reverse classes having a place with the provincial regions through spread of information in the parts of Arts, Science and Commerce and make their overall character improvement.
The goal of the school is giving advanced education to the monetarily more vulnerable socially segregated and less advantaged segments of the general public.
