The University of Kashmir set up the Directorate of Distance Education in the year 1976 with the view to grant schooling in various controls through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode.
The Directorate of Distance Education has been offering numerous scholarly courses/programs and attempts a different scope of exercises.
The Directorate is housed in a multi-celebrated structure with well-prepared library, great understudy uphold administrations, a general media lab, gathering corridor, all around outfitted study halls, and a PC lab with most recent Information and Communication Technology (lCT) offices.
