Description
The Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, was set up on October 20, 1995 by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana with the destinations ‘to encourage and advance examinations and exploration in arising zones of advanced education with center around new wildernesses of innovation, drug store, natural investigations, non-traditional fuel sources and the executives studies and furthermore to accomplish greatness in these and associated fields’.
It was officially introduced on November 1, 1995.
It is named after Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a holy person naturalist of fifteenth century.
Keeping in view the idea of courses offered at the college and the order for which it had been set up the name of the college has been changed as Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology.
